Oh, I don't know what it is, but people who are like "Oh yay groupies" or "I'm their biggest fan" etc. etc., I just can't take them as seriously as a fan. These bands are not going to work their way around you, and you're just one of many fans to them! :L Of course, when someone I like gets together with someone, initially I'm like NOOOOO, but hey, in the end, you want them to be happy.

About sticking with the band through the highs and lows - of course. No one wants their band to be so unsuccessful that they don't have enough money to pay their bills! I think young people especially are so desperate to be "unique"; that might be why they get so upset when people know their band?!
